The Christmas Show

On Saturday 10th December 2016 the club will hold its Christmas Show.  This annual event is a chance to celebrate the festive season and for our members to share their love of skating with friends, family, locals and tourists. 

​Your child will need to arrive to get ready for the show at 16.00.  Please leave them with us in the dressing rooms where a team of nominated parents, committee members and older girls will look after them for you.
 
Secondly, but just as importantly, is to ensure that you your child has all the correct clothing and the right hair for the show. 
 
For children in the Découverte, Initiation, Détection, Pré-Compétition and Ados-Loisirs groups you will need:

  1. A white or flesh coloured pair of tights.  The smaller girls are also allowed to wear white leggings.  These must be plain with no pictures or logos on them please.
  2. A pair of white knickers for those wearing flesh coloured tights (this is to avoid them looking naked underneath)
  3. A warm white underlayer – again, no pictures or logos please.
  4. Plain white woollen gloves (optional)
  5. A large zip up jacket to keep them warm off the ice
  6. A blanket if you would like them to have one
  7. Light make up
  8. Hair done up in a ‘demi-queue’ (a half pony tail where the top of the hair is in a band and the bottom left loose).  Please note that hair must be neat and firmly tied up so that any pins or clips do not fall onto the ice.
  • The boys should wear a black pair of tights or leggings, a black under layer and black woollen gloves. ​
  • Girls in the competition groups should see Catherine to confirm requirements for hair and clothing.
