Skating Groups

The club has about 100 members, both children and adults. Skaters are allocated places in different "loisir", "loisir compétitif"  or "competition" groups by our trainers.  Our beginner skaters can start from age four by joining our "Panpans" (the French name for Thumper in the film "Bambi") group, whist older skaters join the "Green", "Pink", "Blue" and "Yellow" Groups.  We also have dedicated groups for teenagers and adults.  Our "Red" group is made up of our competition skaters.  Trainers will sometimes propose a change of group during the season, based on the skater's abilities, level of commitment and behaviour.  

Throughout the year there are a number of highlights for our groups, including the annual Show, medal tests and taking part in training camps and competitions.
