Skating Groups

The club has about 100 members, both children and adults. Skaters are allocated places in different "loisir", "loisir compétitif"  or "competition" groups by our coaches.  Our beginner skaters can start from age three and a half by joining our "Panpans" (the French name for Thumper in the film "Bambi") group, whist older skaters join the "Green", "Pink", "Blue" and "Yellow" Groups.  We also have dedicated groups for teenagers and adults.  Our "Red" group is made up of our competition skaters.  Coaches may propose a change of group during the season, based on the skater's abilities, level of commitment and behaviour. 

Throughout the year there are a number of highlights for our skaters including the annual show, medal tests and taking part in training camps and competitions.
