TIMETABLE FOR 'LOISIRS' SKATERS
The skating season has now finished for 2022/2023.
The new season starts on 1 July 2023. Out timetables are confirmed by the Centre Sportif shortly before the lessons for loisirs skaters restart in September. Please find below an example of the typical time tables for the first and second terms of skating. These are not confirmed, but they will give you an idea of the days and times at which our younger skaters train.
How does it work...
Below you will find the timetable for our loisirs skaters. Please note that these timings are subject to changes due to the ice rink or Ligue Magnus timetables. We highly recommend that you regularly check this page to ensure you have the right timings. This timetable may also be subject to change in the second school term.
Groups Vert, Rose and Bleu have the option to take part in a second free session during the first term. Monday night's sessions are the obligatory figure skating lessons, but there is an additional free Wednesday afternoon session in the Ecole de Glace for skaters who would like to skate more. Theses sessions are organised with the Chamonix Hockey Club and group together all beginners to learn basic skating skills. Please note that a helmet is required for all skaters taking part in the Ecole de Glace.
We highly recommend that skaters take part in both sessions in order that they can progress more quickly. Please note that it is not possible to just skate on the Wednesday afternoons. This session is only open to children who skate on the Monday.
Inportant: skaters should be dressed and ready to go on the ice at the time their lessons starts. To avoid injury we suggest they do at least a 10 minute warm up prior to their lesson.
Should the trainers be absent for any reason the club reserves the right to replace the teachers with another DEJEPS qualified coach.
